23 Remaining Train Passengers Held by Terrorists Regain Freedom

It is good news for victims and their families as the 23 Remaining Train Passengers Held by bandits today Wednesday regain their freedom.

It will be recalled that the victims were taken hostage on March 28, 2022, en route Kaduna

In a statement by the secretary, Chief of Defense Staff Action Committee, (CDSAC), Prof Usman Yusuf, it stated that the victims were released at 4 pm today.

The statement read ” the seven-man presidential committee assembled by the Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky Eluonye Onyeanuchea Irabor, secured the release and took custody of all the 23 Remaining passengers Held hostage by Boko Haram Terrorist following the attack on the Abuja to Kaduna train on 28-3-2022.

He said the nation owes a debt of gratitude to the Nigerian Military under the leadership of the CDS who conceived and guided the operation from start to finish. All sister Security Agencies and the Federal Ministry of Transportation contributed immensely to this operation” he added.

He maintained that the unwavering support of the President and Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR was what made it possible.
